IIHL Acquires Sterling Bank

IIHL, the promoter of IndusInd Bank, has acquired 100% of Sterling Bank, Bahamas, and renamed it IIHL Bank & Trust. The acquisition was finalised in October 2025 after IIHL initially bought a 51% stake in 2022. The purchase is part of IIHL’s strategy for global expansion in the banking and financial services sector.
